I have struggled with a consistent rise on the scale, I have a lot of issues with trying not to focus on diets and just could not lose weight. I could not handle returning to weight watchers or some other crazy diet and I felt that there seemed to be a lot of research behind this plan. No matter how much I exercised or stopped eating certain foods I could never budge the scale. Since SANE my joint pain is less, I feel like I am lighter even though the scale is slow to budge, I have more energy.
This is a journey of transformation and it takes a lot of courage and time and being kind to yourself seems to be the underlying message of this organization. I also like that there is a continuum from SANE to INsane and that seems workable…. not like you are cheating but you are choosing to go insane and then you can return.
