A program that I was on before joining SANE had only taken me so far; I realized that I needed to make a change. SANE has taken me further towards being healthier.
Since discovering SANE, I’m getting better nutrients into my body, and I have confidence that I am taking better care of myself. Also, I’m discovering answers to many questions I had about my health which has changed because of better nutrition.
SANE is different from anything else that I have tried in the past in that their record keeping is different and much easier. They have an abundance of resources and the community support from other members is great; it’s like nothing that I have seen before.
The number one piece of advice that I would offer someone who is just starting out on their SANE journey is to be patient with yourself. It’s about enjoying the journey while going at your own pace. – Linda A.
Before joining SANE, I was frustrated with feeling like I couldn’t remove belly fat no matter what I did. I joined SANE because I wanted more energy and to have a better understanding about the right foods to eat.
My “aha” moment came when I saw that my weight was creeping up. I began to take steps to take control of my life and my health. In addition to eating healthier, I spent more time in the gym working out. I also became more active, socially and have identified a better life balance for myself.
A typical SANE day for me starts with the belief that you are what you eat and it’s followed with making good choices throughout the day.
The biggest success that I have celebrated since joining SANE is that at age 70, I have realized that I now have the opportunity to possess optimal health. SANE coaches have helped play a role in my success by helping me to clarify issues that I had and providing me with the opportunity to gain insight into what it takes to move forward with respect to my goals,
If I could talk to myself 3 or 4 years before I began my SANE journey I would say, “You’re successful but running on empty on the inside.” “So, decide to make a change and take steps to do it now!”
If I had to offer a tip to my SANE success, it would be that you have to accept responsibility for your life, and celebrate the small changes along the way.
Life is better now I have gone SANE, with much lower levels of anxiety and lots of peace from within.
