I realized that I needed to make a change in my life when I gained a substantial amount of weight after quitting smoking; I found that I had replaced cigarettes with food.
My life is better after discovering SANE because I am learning to eat better and not rely on food as a cigarette replacement.
SANE is different from anything else that I have tried in the past in that it is a program that teaches you how to eat for the rest of your life; it is a better way of eating. And if you make a mistake, you don’t have to feel guilty, you just get on with it again.
The advice that I would give someone who is just starting out on their SANE journey is to take one day at a time. Plan out your food and your exercise routine in a time frame that you can handle and don’t stress about it. And don’t stress yourself out about it.
