Michelle’s SANE Story: Feeling Better, Happier and Full of Energy

I have always struggled with my weight and my health wasn’t good so I decided to take major action in my life. Now, I feel better, have more energy and am happier.

SANE is different from anything else that I have tried in that you don’t have to feel guilty about “insane” foods on occasion. They also have tons of recipes that don’t taste like cardboard and people who are there for you to answer your questions.

My favorite SANE food is a big salad with all the trimmings!

Judy’s In Progress SANE Story – Loving More Mobility

I was diagnosed with a medical condition that required me to remove as much sugar from my diet as possible. Upon learning that, I looked for help and discovered the SANE approach which just seemed right for me.

Since discovering SANE, I have more energy than I had before, and I sleep better. Also, I am more mobile which has me willing and wanting to be more active. It feels great!

SANE is different from anything else that I have tried before in that it includes personal one on one coaching; it is incredible because they are very interested in your ‘total’ well-being. The program is thoroughly comprehensive with many resources available. This allows you to tailor the program to your individual needs. Once you’re in the program and the approach, you’re in for life!

The number one piece of advice that I would offer someone who is just beginning their SANE journey is to allow yourself the space you need to change. With this program there are a lot of changes that are available, allow the changes to occur over time. ~ Judy W.

Christina’s In Progress SANE Story – 20 Pounds Gone and 2 Dress Sizes!

Throughout my life, I have been painfully aware that I have been dealt some difficult genetic cards because of prevalent obesity-related health issues on both sides of my family.  My father suffered from diabetes and subsequently died of several consecutive heart attacks at 64. I knew that unless I found something to “save” me, I would most likely be facing a life stuck behind layers of fat ending with an untimely death from diabetes or it’s related illnesses.

About 10 years into my father’s diagnosis, I decided to help him and myself by reading books on diet and nutrition.   I had tried almost every diet under the sun, some with small temporary wins, but they were all usually very difficult to stick to and sometimes made me behave in very strange ways. For example, after only 5 grams of carbs per day for a week, I once walked into the supermarket in a half zombie-like daze, and grabbed a pack of cold pancakes off the shelf and ate them in the car before driving home. It was like my body was just acting by itself and I could only watch.

My doctor started threatening me with a diabetes diagnosis in 2016, but through a huge amount of effort of white-knuckling my way through vegetables, fruit and meat, I managed to drop some weight and my bloodwork improved enough to appease the doctor and agree to a diagnosis of “glucose intolerant.” So I narrowly escaped diabetes then.

At the end of 2017, the stress of raising twins and working 80 – 90 hours per week took its toll.  I went straight back to eating bread, pasta, and chocolate for daily sustenance.

I lost my job in January 2019 which was an absolute blessing, as suddenly the stress was gone. So, I knew that it was now or never. But how to go about it?  This is where the SANE program caught my attention. After watching the Masterclass, I realized that the program was exactly what I was looking for: a system based in science.  No magic. No guilt. I only spend my time focusing on getting enough vegetables – eat more, eat more!

My life is better since discovering SANE in that I am never hungry. In fact, I can barely keep up with all of the eating I need to do.  I have positive self-talk. Instead of “no, Christina, you can’t have this or that!”, now I am spending my time saying: “Yay, let’s have some more of this, and some more of that.“

As I get lighter, I become nimbler on my feet, so I enjoy walking more. My trousers are falling off constantly. I have had to buy a rubber band belt so I can keep them up.

So far, I have lost 20 lbs and have gone down two dress sizes.

For the first time ever, I can actually see myself reaching my end goal.   I am only 20% of the way so far, but I know I will get there.

SANE is different from any program that I have tried in the past because I now focus on what I should eat rather than what I should not eat.  It also provides community support where I feel that I am standing on the shoulders of people with scientific knowledge who have a positive view on life and who care about my progress, the way a family would.  Also, it provides access to resources where I can learn how to swap out the foods I previously ate for new variants that are just as satisfying. The SANE website also contains cooking classes that are a real revelation.  I was already a good cook, but now I have become an alchemist.

The advice that I would offer someone who is just beginning their SANE journey is not to expect immediate results.  Let your body adjust and keep going; the change will come. And get curious in the kitchen! The more adventurous you are, the more fun it gets. ~Christina E.

Starvation Is NOT Healthy. Stop counting calories & go #SANE with me at http://SANESolution.com“I can go out socially and not have to take my own food.”

I have always struggled with my weight, so there really wasn’t a tipping point. Since being SANE, I am loving eating way more vegetables and doing more food prep in advance.

What I like about SANE is that it is more of a lifestyle change. I can go out socially and not have to take my own food. I’m not counting calories, which doesn’t work long term.

If there was one thing I could tell someone just starting their SANE journey, is be patient with yourself. It’s a journey, not a race, and both you and SANE are here for the long run!

Cindy’s In Progress SANE Story – Exciting New Journey Away from Yo-Yo Dieting

I found SANE when I was looking to make a lifestyle change. I have struggled with my weight my entire life. A couple of years ago, I lost 80lbs and felt great. However, I went back to eating the way I did before the diet and the weight crept back on. I then realized that I needed to change my lifestyle once and for all, and not just diet because that is a short term fix. When it ends, all of the bad habits come back.

Since discovering SANE, I feel better with more energy, I can get down and then back up again off the floor, and I am sleeping better.

SANE is different from anything that I have tried in the past in that it includes the online community for support and one on one coaching. It also includes extensive course material, recipes, and tips.

I’d like to add that I’m just getting started on my journey and would like to lose another 140lbs. There may not appear to be much difference in the before and after pictures, but I can now finally zip up my jeans in my “after” picture. I am excited about my new journey and am certain that I will succeed! ~ Cindy S.

Sally’s In Progress SANE Story – From Pre-diabetic to Normal

Seven years ago my husband, Sam, passed away. In the first year after his death, I lost seventy pounds and kept it off for a year. Then I moved into a senior apartment. They serve desserts frequently—cake or cookies sometimes as often as three times a day. My first years I gained forty pounds. I tried several diets over the next few years and was eventually diagnosed as prediabetic.  That was the tipping point that made me realize that I needed to make a major change in my life and join the SANE program.

Since joining SANE, I have lost two inches from my waist and at my last physical, all of my test results are in the normal range.  I have access to healthy, delicious recipes and have found a lifestyle that I can live with for the rest of my life.

SANE is different from anything that I have tried in the past because of the top-notch coaching I have received.  It also has an informative and fun Step by Step learning program that I completed last month. I have finally found a diet that I can stick to and I know that I will not gain the weight back.  Life is good.

The number one piece of advice that I would offer someone who is just starting out on their SANE journey is to stick to the program and listen to the advice of others.

I would also like to share my gratitude for this amazing program. ~ Sally B.

Frigga’s SANE Success Story -Loving Renewed Energy

I joined SANE primarily for my wife, who was in a pre-diabetic situation and gaining weight without any control.

Since discovering SANE, I have more energy for daily affairs.  I no longer feel lethargic after eating pizza or bread. Preparing such a large amount of vegetables makes me happy, funny and in a better mood.  And SANE is different from anything that I have tried in the past in that you can eat as much as you want and still lose weight.

The number one piece of advice that I would offer someone who is just embarking on their SANE journey is not to focus on what you can’t have; play with combinations of the food that you can have and be creative.

I read a really great book that spoke about the body depositing overwhelming emotions in a special area that are stored. The body then puts further “dirt” on, often as fats or as real dirt. By the process of losing weight with the SANE program, the old dirt could come up again as layers are removed – including the old ex-overwhelming emotions – with the chance to be felt now and the chance to let them go and heal. ~Frigga W.

Elaine’s In Progress SANE Story – No More Yo-Yo Dieting!

I’ve been yo-yo dieting for years and got to the point of being tired of living with that cycle. Upon being tired of that cycle, I decided to do something different to break it by joining SANE.

Since joining SANE, I now have more energy and need less sleep. Also, I am actually eating more food without thinking so much about it. Specifically, I’m eating more greens!

SANE is different from anything else that I have tried in the past in that I’m now eating as much as I’d like, until I’m full. Also, I enjoy the coaching support and the educational resources provide information that seems more realistic than what I’ve seen in the past.

The number one piece of advice that I would offer someone who is just starting out on their SANE journey is to read the courses and lessons because they do make sense. ~ Elaine K.

Marilyn’s In Progress SANE Story – Tossing Out Restrictions

At the beginning of this year (2019), I knew that it was time for me to find an approach that could provide sustainable health options, as well as becoming fit and energetic.

Since discovering SANE, I can eat normally and lose weight without needing to follow a restrictive diet. The more I eat that is healthy, the more I lose and I don’t need to be perfect for it to work.

SANE is different from anything else that I have tried in the past in that I have the freedom to choose from many different varieties of foods. I enjoy the ability to work with coaches. I also like the variety of resources that are available.

The number one piece of advice that I would offer someone who is just starting on their SANE journey is to just do it. Get on the program and learn to enjoy it! ~ Marilyn P.
