My husband needed to reduce his weight and his blood sugar values. I also needed to lose weight as I quit smoking two years ago. I began walking and made a few adjustments to my diet to avoid the weight gain. I did lose about ten pounds but regained despite my efforts. It was then that I decided to make a change in our lives and join SANE.

Since discovering SANE, my husband has lost 10 lbs and his blood sugar levels have improved. We are eating better than we ever have, we feel better and we have more energy.

SANE is different from any other program that I have tried in that we don’t feel deprived.

I realized that a change was needed when I was no longer happy with myself. All my clothes were too tight and I did not like what I would see in the mirror. I was saying out loud things to myself that I would never say to someone else.

Since discovering SANE, I feel good and look better. I have much more energy. The negative thoughts are pretty much a thing of the past!

Harry’s In Progress SANE Story – Smaller Belt Sizes and More Energy

I realized that I needed to make a change in my life 20 years ago when my weight reached 300lbs.  I tried many other programs until I finally found SANE. Since then, I have lost weight and a couple of belt sizes.  I also have more energy and fewer cravings.

SANE is different from anything else that I have tried in that I enjoy many vegetables, take more time to prepare my food, and I keep records of what I am doing.

Carla’s In Progress SANE Story – 17 Pounds Down

I realized that I needed to make a major change in my life when I stepped on the scale and saw that I had reached 235lbs.

Since joining SANE, I feel better and I am sleeping better. Also, I can actually sing better because after losing 17 pounds, I have more lung capacity.

SANE is different from anything else I tried in that it includes coaching which I really appreciate. I also liked attending the Setpoint Challenge and participating in that group; it is nice knowing that there are other people going through the same thing I am.

Karen’s In Progress SANE Story – Renewed Energy

One night while sleeping, I turned over onto my stomach and had to reach with my hand to lift and move the excess skin around my waist.  That was the “tipping point” that compelled me to take major action in my life.

My life is significantly better since discovering SANE in that I can now walk up the stairs by putting one foot on each step the way everyone else does, rather than placing one foot on the step and then the other on the same step.  I have more energy and no longer need to drink 2 Red Bulls a day!

Mike’s In Progress SANE Story – Losing Weight without Being Hungry!

I tore the meniscus in my knee and because of the limping, I developed joint issues. I decided that I needed to make a change in my life after my physical therapist advised me to lose weight.

My life is better since joining SANE because I was able to lose weight without feeling hungry and have stopped taking fiber supplements, and the recipes have been teaching me how to eat healthier.

In other programs, the diets were meat-intensive, there were strict vegetable choices, and I lost weight but it was only temporary.  Not so with SANE.

I like the fact that SANE is a lifetime program.  When life gets in the way, I can always go back.

My tipping point for making changes in my life came after I started not feeling well and realizing I had gained too much weight.

I have already lost 20 pounds and I am eating properly and getting the best nutrition for my body. I have realized eating nutritional foods every few hours and getting a better night’s sleep is helping me. I like having a variety of foods to eat, being able to make smarter snack choices, and the benefits of being consistent.

Marlene’s SANE Success: From Painful Joints to Happy and Healthy

“I have more energy and am losing weight.”

A few of my family members were taking steps to try and lose weight; but when my cousin had her stomach surgically made smaller I realized I needed to make a change in my own life. Since finding SANE I have more energy and am losing weight. I also noticed my joints don’t hurt as much anymore either.

SANE has a different exercise program than other things I’ve tried in the past. It’s also different by what types of foods are SANE and which ones aren’t. So I’ve been able to eat healthier and not feel deprived.

SANE really isn’t that hard… seriously 🙂 … so if you are just starting or considering it, just remember that.
